Is it just me or it has gotten boring?

No it's not just you. I'm personally not impressed with how the story is going right now. It's way more of a slow burn then ever before, and it's also becoming more of an ensemble where the side characters are getting way more spotlight. I could adapt and be fine with all that if Ichikawa and Yamada were still getting wholesome moments and relationship development, but I think they're super stagnant now because the writer isn't allowing Yamada to really do anything, and Ichikawa is crippled by all the exam crap and that fake rejection in the class. Meanwhile Moeko is getting all this focus, which again, I would be okay with, if Japanese fans weren't using it to push a dumb NTR plotline where she gets with Ichikawa. It's been getting out of hand on Twitter.

I just don't think the story has any direction right now. I had been voicing my displeasure and critical opinions recently among the Japanese fandom over the past week or two, but anyone who criticizes the manga is basically public enemy #1, and I deactivated my account yesterday because I couldn't take the carefree, delusional, and lowkey toxic nature of the fandom anymore. They just think everything is perfect no matter what but get a kick out of making fun of the main two characters more often than not, so it doesn't make any sense to me. Sorry this turned into a ramble lol my bad.

@sauragorn10 "Way more spotlight" is a stretch. The vast majority of the chapters are still Kyo and Yamada hanging out and being cute together just with occasional side character stuff. The last two volumes have been about Anna growing and becoming mindful of others. Maybe it's because you're following this as it releases but it's pretty apparent all together.

Doubt any JP fans are serious about Kyo and Moe NTR. Most impressions I see from JP Twitter are about liking Kyo and Anna's growth.

idk, the good part of when the couple "officialize" in a story, to me, it's see the relationship develop, and the characters dealing with new "couple stuff" that can't be adressed on the "secretly in love with you" phase
but here... with the whole thing about keep the relationship a secret, the fake rejection, and plus the "let's think about after graduation" storyline, don't leave much room for them to be a couple (they seemed more like boyfriend and girlfriend before starting to date )
